Lavishly landscaped with native plants and winding pathways, the vibrant Stayover in Dysart 410-room village creates a modern yet welcoming home-away-from-home experience for the Bowen Basin workforce.
The 15sqm accommodation rooms are larger than the the industry standard and provide a generous and comfortable space with a double bed and ensuite. All rooms are also equipped with stylish furniture, LCD television with Foxtel, private fridge, desk area and split system air conditioning for year round comfort. Designated nightshift accommodation areas ensure guests are not woken by day-to-day village and guest operations. Stayover in Dysart also offers executive Eco Cabins providing a further spacious living option of 30sqm in total. The ensuited bedroom featuring a large desk with chair, comfortable double bed, flat screen LCD television and air conditioning is separated from a private kitchenette and living space.
Breakfast, crib lunch and dinner are included in each stay. The village restaurant includes a modern kitchen and large dining facility with high raked ceilings to allow natural light and ventilation, and provides fresh, nutritious meals prepared daily by the onsite chef, served in an informal self-serve style. A comprehensive menu ensures all dietary requirements are satisfied with in an ever-changing menu cycle. An ice room ensures guests can keep their crib lunch fresh whilst on site.
Recreation facilities include a fully equipped gym with flat screen TVs, entertainment centre with pool table and big screen LCD TV, undercover BBQ areas with food packs available to order, cafe and corner store and a walking/running track. Conference rooms are also available if required.
All villages have onsite management to assist in providing a stress-free, safe and comfortable living environment for our residents.
The village café offers a barista brewed coffee along with gourmet treats and desserts. Next door, the corner store sells magazines, bottled drinks, toiletries and more.

I have stayed at seven camps. The [Stayover in Dysart] village... is unique. The atmosphere is peaceful and laid back... welcoming, friendly, professional... I enjoy the larger than normal beds. I really enjoy having a carpeted floor... Rooms are cleaned to perfection and the beds are made like professionals. It is my favourite camp thus far.
Kingfisher is the best village I have ever stayed at. I'm nearly 60 so I've been to a few! The staff are just amazing - reception, chefs, kitchen staff, all of them. The food is restaurant quality. Rooms are clean, great mattresses and pillows. Shampoo and soap in the bathrooms are a nice touch. Kingfisher's grass and the trees, it just makes you happy. To grab a few beers on the grass and chill, watch the sun go down is an amazing way to end the day. I can't say enough about Kingfisher.
A massive thank you to all the management and staff at Kingfisher for putting up with the crew for the past few years! I can honestly say it felt like a home away from home for myself and I'm sure my colleagues would agree. Friendly people, great service, awesome management and the amazing food. It really is the whole package.
My room.. was spotless and exceedingly comfortable, with heating, air conditioning, cable television and a fridge. In all my travels, I cannot remember sleeping in a motel room better equipped or better planned.

Stayover in Dysart is one of the nicest camps and rooms I've stayed in. Very comfortable. Wish they were all like this.
Stayover villages (with the exception of Stayover on Zeller St, Chinchilla and Stayover in Dalby) do not have limits on the length of a guest's stay. Bookings for one night up to multiple months are accepted.
For Stayover on Zeller St, Chinchilla there is a minimum 5-night consecutive booking and stay.
For Stayover in Dalby there is a minimum 4-night booking.
Stayover by Ausco villages provide accommodation solutions for the mining, energy and infrastructure workforce in Australia.
All linen is provided in accommodation rooms. Rooms are serviced and linen is changed once every 7 days and upon a guest's departure.
Self-service laundry rooms are available for all guests to use in Stayover villages. These include washer, dryer and ironing facilities.
Each Stayover village includes various recreation facilities including fully equipped gyms, BBQ areas with food packs available to order, entertainment centres with pool tables, swimming pool, beach volleyball court, putting green, licenced bar and more.

Check in at all villages is available from 2pm and closes at 7pm. Any incoming guest requiring a late check in should call 1300 730 630 prior to arriving so alternative arrangements can be made with onsite management. At check in, guests will be required to provide photo identification, sign the guest register and be given a full site induction.
Residents must check out by 10am, return their room key and sign the departures register. Residents must remove all personal items from their room (unless staying in a permanent room).
Yes, personal mail for residents can be sent to our villages. Residents can collect their mail daily from Reception. Please refer to your Reception team to ensure you are using the correct mailing address.
